SHS 1 Reporting Date: Ghana Education Service (GES) Tells Schools To Begin Registration On December 4
SHS 1 Reporting Date: The Ghana Education Service (GES) has stated that first-year senior high students are expected to report to school on Monday, December 4, 2023. Schools should start registration and orientation from that date. The GES, through its Head of Public Relations, Cassandra Twum Ampofo, emphasized this in a statement.
There will be a Christmas break starting on December 21, and students will resume classes in January. The final vacation for students is scheduled for March 5, 2024.
The GES encourages students who haven’t completed their Self Placement to do so promptly.
Despite concerns about the preparation time for first-years, the Education Ministry insists that the date will not change, emphasizing that the academic calendar was released early enough for parents to plan accordingly.
