At just 27 years old, Adelita Kabuki Ami Tettegah, known by her brand name “Baby Adelle,” is a testament to the power of dreams, focus, and determination. Born in Big Ada on October 10, 1998, she has spent the last decade shattering expectations and proving that age is merely a number when passion and grit are involved.
Baby Adelle's journey is built on a solid foundation of excellence. Her early education at St. Mary’s Preparatory School and Accra Girls’ Senior High School paved the way for her academic pursuits at the University of Ghana, where she earned a B.A. in Psychology and Sociology. Her entrepreneurial spirit ignited at 19, following her recognition as the youngest finalist at the 2017 Miss Ghana pageant. Driven by a desire to empower young women, she founded the Adelle Ushering Agency. Despite initial challenges, the agency has blossomed into a powerhouse, now employing 50 ladies and managing approximately 200 high-profile events, including major programs for MTN and Vodafone.
Adelita's commitment extends beyond business. At 23, she joined the Ghana Immigration Service, successfully navigating the rigors of a six-month paramilitary training. As an Assistant Superintendent of Immigration, she now plays a crucial role in managing Ghana's border security. Her rapid ascent is an inspiration, particularly for young girls in Big Ada and beyond, offering a beacon of hope for those striving for greatness. Adelita continues to expand her horizons, recently earning a Master of Arts in Human Resource Management with Informatics and planning to pursue a PhD. Her ultimate vision is to establish a girls' secondary school, further fueling her passion for service and education. Through her NGO, the Adelle Foundation, and her daily work, Adelita champions the youth, urging them to prioritize education and persevere in their pursuits, a message echoed in her profound advice: "Take your education seriously and never give up on what you are pursuing. Whether it is technical skills or vocational training, keep pushing, because there is surely light at the end of every tunnel." Adelita Kabuki Ami Tettegah embodies the extraordinary achievements possible through self-discipline, education, and an unwavering will to succeed.
